Virtual Gastric Band of New England is Myra Durkin, MSW, LICSW and Erika Slater, CH, two prominent therapists in the field of hypnosis in New England.
Both Myra and Erika were recently trained and certified to conduct Sheila Granger’s Virtual Gastric Band program in New England.
Shelia Granger herself conducted the training and certification recently in New York City.
Myra and Erika will be conducting a Virtual Gastric Band hypnosis for weight loss trial in November. The study will consist of 25 people and there will be no charge to participants.

Hi there everyone, My name is Sheila Gray and I too just finished training in the UK with Sheila Granger on Virtual Gastric Band Hypnosis…isn’t it fantastic! I’m also working on a study group, which I’m hoping will contrubute to the figures necessary to convince the NHS Health care service here in Britain,in a bid to encourage them to take up the effective, low cost, no risk alternative to Gastric Band Surgery and Gastric Bypass Surgery.
There were only 10 of us on the course and I’m the only one from Scotland. I’m happy to hear from you and share the findings of my study group and would look forward to hearing of your progress and success.

Welcome. My study group starts on December 1, 2010 and runs through to the holidays. We’re busy getting prepared for that first session where it’s “installed” – managed to find a place outside Boston that sells Dettol to add to the hospital effect. Please do keep in touch and let us know how it goes. There is a Yahoo group started here that you may want to join if not already to keep up to date with news.
